Every day I am trying to add some more thinking hat resources I am making for my class to TES. It has been shown that Thinking Hat Questions promote higher thinking and reading skills in children and yet when it came to actually finding lots of these resources on this website, I could not find any and so I am planning to write worksheets each night and share them with everyone. I would love a review of my work and also any suggestions on what other children's books people would like me to add to this collection.

These worksheets let you look at the characters, writing postcards home and of course developing a poster about why you liked this book. All these would make fabulous display materials.

Room on a broom is one of the best selling children's books on Amazon and yet it has hardly any resources listed on the TES. As obviously lots of teachers and students love this book, I thought I would make it into a series of worksheets.
I would love some feedback about what you think about this set of worksheets.
This set of worksheets focuses on how Jack and Granny feel in Jack and the FlumFlum tree. The children examine how granny feels at sending her grandson to get her some medicine, and also two worksheets on how Jack feels. In one, they match the feeling to the story, while in the other, they draw Jack's face at different time and think of a adjective to describe him.
I would love some comments from people who have used this in the classroom.

I have read everywhere how important Thinking Hat Questions are when it comes to reading. However, when I looked on the TES for lots of examples of other teachers work, I could not find a lot. I have now set myself the task of creating as many Thinking Hat Guided Reading Questions as possible for all the best selling picture books. It is a long term plan and you will need to be patient if this is not the book you were wanting. If you tell me which book you want, I will complete is as my next book. Of course, what works well for my son, might also work for your child, and so I thought I would add the same certificates to each reading pack to help motivate every child to reach their real potential.

I have added lots of new and exciting teaching ideas to get more out of every book.
As well as the book, you should also always use these highly motivational reading certificates. In my experience, children enjoy reading and collecting these certificates. It is also a nice way of showing their parents that their students have become active readers!
See Sam is the third book in the series of beginning readers. The students start to read a longer story. Sam falls down a hole and Mat rescues him. I think this would be perfect for anyone wanting to do role playing with the class.
